On cityline last week Frankie showed how to plant crocus bulbs in the lawn and for my garden this is a perfect solution for spring, as the snow melts on the grass first. The flower beds are knee high in snow, and it takes the other bulbs forever to push through.
So I have been to CandianTire, Home Depot, HomeHardware and can't find a BIG bag of crocuses. Most are in quantities of 12 for $4 or 15 for $8. This adds up if I wanted 50, lol
I found a good selection of tulip bulbs at HomeDepot (50 for $15) so why no crocuses.
And I thought crocuses are the cheaper of the bulbs
Anyone seen a good quantity and good deal out there???
Here's my dream, lol

How about Vesey's? They have a good reputation. I've ordered some things from them and they were great. They even replaced some Hostas I got that didn't take with no question.
I'd love to plant bulbs like that but I fear they would end up dinner for the squirrels.
Here are their crocus bulbs, 96 for $26.70 and if you go through the rest of the site you will see they have their bulbs on sale right now too.

Don't know where you can find them but my neighbour had them in her lawn and every spring it looked so pretty.
