jenjen,

Glad you are enjoying your new car. I like the look of the new mustang but don't think I could ever bring myself to own a car that guzzles gas like it does. Still, to each his own...

and I have to add - I don't visit this site often and rarely do I log in and comment but this Glas fellow seems to be causing quite an uproar. My advice - he is baiting you, trying to start something, just ignore him, it is the only thing that will work.

Jen I am glad you are enjoying your car!!!
Mel I am glad you had a great trip and 200 for a speeding ticket that stinks ( I guess it has been along times since I had one ,,no idea it was that much!!)

Hey Ladies..thanks for the welcome..the trip was a little bit long. The kids got tired of the hotels pretty quick..not to mention the "Having to sit in your seat cause we're in a restaurant" thing. It got so hard to keep my 3 year old sitting that I just started ordering room service. But on a brighter note..we saw some lovely parts of Newfoundland that we hadn't seen before. On the drive through Gros Morne National Park, we saw 9 caribou and 5 moose in less than 10 minutes..crazy!!
Um..I figure you could probably get here in less than 2 days Louise. Especially the way you drive.. . But..you better watch the cops driving across the Island..they nabbed Dh the other morning..LOL. $200 ticket..and 3 points gone. He's stunned as me arse!!
:p Thelma

Yay congrats on your purchase jenjen!

As for Glas, jenjen was right when she said you start crap and then get defensive when people respond. You can state your opinion without sounding like a mean, rude, obnoxious person, ya know. Perhaps you should take some classes to find out just how to do that.

This has nothing to do with where you are from anymore re: dialects, slang and whatnot. It has to do with you, your personality and your oh so very apparent need to feel like a big man.

I beat an Audi the other day in my car. It's not a super expensive car (in your mind) either but I beat the wanna be macho man. I am sure his tail was between his legs. I hope you weren't inferring that a woman might not be able to "handle" a car.

I truly hope this forum can get back to what its true intentions are. I haven't been here often for this reason. It's ridiculous.

Again, congrats jenjen. You must be so happy. I am glad you finally got a car for just you!

Congratulations on the car! With the weather getting better, I'm sure you will enjoy it. Don't get too wild!

Oh how nice to have a new car. You must be excited. I think I'd be finding any excuse to be out and about....forgetting things when shopping so I'd have to go out again...needing a DQ or something you know, anything that required a car trip. You should have a fun summer.

Are you going to name the car?

One accessory you do need, is a notebook to write down every time your car gets attention from onlookers! :D

I damn well know am not the only one that has driven those cars, NEVER SAID I WAS THE ONLY, as there were a few of us working there  I won't exactly call a mustang an expensive car, my car with all the upgrades cost more than that, and I don't mean the AUDI the wife drives.

So what is all the fuss? So you know for sure people don't buy or lease cars for eye candy, they tell you this? I guess the repo companies are just there for eye candy then, because we all know the amounts of cars that get get repo'ed, and then sold at auction.

Anyway....congrats to the car owner ;)

do me a favor...unless you wanna congratulate me on my car...stay the **** off my thread...take your Audi...that your wife drives with a child...how's the car seat feel in there...and whatever else you have driven in your lifetime and shove it!!!...my Mustang might not have cost as much as your TT...but it's what I as in ME wanted...as for my Mustang not being an expensive car...well i'll add it's cost to the $65K Vette in my garage..and my $50K pick up truck...so like i said...stay off my thread... ...this crap you start is gettin' really old....you start **** then get all defensive and uppity...lose it or lose the addy for this forum...please...grow up

to everyone else...thanks i love it...i'm gettin' the rally stripes put on her soon...i'm so happy

I've heard that you can change the colour that the dashboard lights up in on the new Mustang. Have you tried that??
