does anyone have any or anyone ever used it?...i just bought a loaf pan yesterday and decided to make a banana bread loaf,,,,i am assuming that you need to let it cool completely before trying to remove the loaf...well DH was a bit of an eager beaver and did not let it cool before pulling the sides of the pan away and then flipped!!! the loaf over...made a complete mess!!!...completely pissed me off...i hate a messy looking banana bread...GGGGRRR!!!!!....so if anyone has these can ya tell me if you are supposed to let it cool completely before tryin to remove the bread...cuz at this point i'm ready to return it or just chuck it...it didn't come with very good instructions on use...

My mom loves the stuff. She has loaf pans, muffin tins and cake tins made of silicon. I think she even has the cookie sheet, but U have to use a tray to support the sheet in the oven. Anyway I haven't heard any complaints from her. Hope your next banana bread isn't messy. :)
jenjen I have used this bakeware before without any problems, i really like it for baking cakes, i had no problems removing the cake, and yes i did let it cool first, but not for a long period of time and it was fine coming out of the pan. I have never used it to make a meat loaf tho! You should try it again and see what happens and then decide!
It bakes 'differently'. I was going to buy a muffin silicone for my mom in a specialty kitchen store and they advised against it as baking times are different. They suggested I put my money into 'good' muffin tins instead.
I haven't used it but to me it just looks like something you shouldn't put food in. I'm paranoid that if I bake with it, my food will end up with some kinda unknown toxic chemical. I am assuming that because it is on the market it's ok but it still gives me the heebie jeebies.
no not yet Jeep... sorry...lol...i might try and make something today and use it...i'm in one of those moods that i wanna bake...but as soon as i try it out again i will let you know...as long as DH isn't around when i bake with it...i will probably have better results...lol...
Have you used this pan since and did it work when you let the loaf cool off. I was going to buy then as shower gifts now I am afraid.
