that once the shrubs leaf out, they'll hide the dying foliage of the bulbs.
Jeep, I think in between bushes in clusters......the reason being that when they grow tall they can be easily supported by the bushes and esthetically I think they will look nicer too. :D

not to hijack your thread...but is there something I should be doing in my garden before winter....I have all kinds of flowers ( kinda look like they are dying) plants ,trees, bushes and shrubs......I have only ever owned new homes so I have never had a "mature lot"....now what?................sorry about your bulb question...I have no clue........... :D
