Well, maybe not so strange. I have become a convert to the idea of alfalfa as a soil amendment, but cannot think of a place to get it. I am in Toronto. I am looking for alfalfa pellets, hay or (ideally) fines. Rabbit food does not work, apparently, because it has sugar and salt added.
Does anyone know of any feed stores within a reasonable distance of Toronto?

...if I understand your post, you get alfalfa seeds. I live in Toronto, and would really need the finished product!
I get wild grasses and alfalfa for our pasture from the Vessey seed cataloge. You can get it in large or small quantities and our local farm supply store only sells it in large 10lbs bags.
