We're in the process of remodeling of our apartment in the contemporary style, so some stuff is already made and some stuff is under questions. So, we have maple hardwood floors, oak baseboard, espresso-colored window frames and doors (closet and interior ones as well as patio door) and white ceiling. Some of the furniture is also of espresso color. What was not done yet is doors (interior and patio) trim, window sills and walls weren't painted yet. We're sort of hesitating if all of the following looks fine. And have problems with imagination, sorry - we have to look at the picture to see how particular things look:-) Therefore, your (preferrably timely) advice is highly appreciated.1. Our contractors suggest oak trim for all the interior doors. In general, would that look fine: espresso doors, maple floors, oak baseboard and door trim?2. For patio door in the living room, we're thinking about dark-colored trim (maybe, espresso as well?). So, he living room will have espresso furniture, espresso doors and trim, maple hardwood floors and oak baseboard. Would it look good? Or oak (to match baseboard) for the door trim would look better? Or some other color? Regarding wall color in the living room, we're thinking about pure gray (not light gray, not dark gray). What do you think?3. Bedrooms have espresso doors, espresso windows frames, maple floors, oak baseboard. Doors trims are not set yet (see the first question). We're thinking to color window sill by espresso paint. Would it look good? Any other suggestions? Regarding walls, we want them to paint in different tones of gray. What do you think? Also, shall we paint sides and top of window niche by white color or by the same color as we do with walls?
