Just wanted to say thanks for the recipes. I made the salmon pinwheels but couldn't find dilly of a dip so i used cream cheese and fresh dill and they went quick.
My recipe's almost identical to Elise's except I use shrimp instead of crabmeat.
I put Philly cream cheese, crabmeat, green onion, sliced olives, dash of salt and pepper.
Thank you both!! I'm going to have to add a bunch more items to my grocery list!! :)
we've made them with herbed cream cheese fresh chives & dried cranberries ( perfect for xmas colours)
or
mexican version
cream cheese, salsa, shredded chedder & a shot of vodka, mix in processor & spread...you can add jalapenio peppers if you like them spicy.
or
goats cheese, pesto, roasted red peppers & olive tapenade & fresh basil leaves.
thinly sliced smoked salmon, "dilly of a dip" spread, shredded leaf lettuce, chopped green onions, dill. Spread the dill spread on the tortilla, then layer the salmon down the middle (too expensive to spread over the whole thing and you don't need it) then mix the lettuce, onions and dill together then spread on top. Roll up and wrap with saran, refridgerate for at least an hour. Friends rave about this one!
