 What can I do? I've already put my bulbs in. If they are all still in the ground with no growth above ground should they be okay?
I have recently planted a mock orange (since you all highly recommended it!) and a few other shrubs. I have covered the plants that are growing above ground with pails and rocks on top to keep the pails from blowing away.
Do you think that I should still try to cover the bed with a tarp? It's sooooo windy I don't know how it would ever stay.
I also planted a new weeping pea shrub tree yesterday. Should I worry about my tree at all? It's to go down to -2 tonight and about there for the next 4 days or so at night.
Also what about my plants that were in the ground from last year that have started growing foliage? I have some hydrangeas that have started growing some new wood and some shrubs. I'm new to all of this gardening stuff. ;)
