Hi,
I have trouble finding a coffee table for my living room, I wonder if a gold iron base with a glass top would be good. And I think wood will be too heavy. I want something that would make the room airy and elegant. Can you give your advise on it? Also, any idea on paint (this floor is all the same color) cushions, drapes, frames, will be welcomed to help me finish this room! Thanks a lot for your precious help!

At Custom Made you can build wood, metal, or glass custom coffee tables. Choose according your room/hall space and budget.
The coffee table you are talking about with a gold border and glass top would surely be elegant but could be heavy if you go fo a solid base. If you really want this style go for a lighter piece with a not-so-heavy base structure. Coffee tables need to be light so you could move them easily. Going for something heavy is not a good option.
None of these go with the traditional light fixture, window treatments, the piano, or the general feeling of the room. I would get wood in a color and style that is similar to the piano.

I would suggest something both functional and fun, e.g. like the coffee table joined with a bioethanol fireplace I have recently come accross.
If you know exactly the size and shape of the coffee table you want I suggest you to purchase one online I'll save you precious time and frankly it's much easier than going to a furniture store. Fantastic! I like this table idea. But as for the carpet, the chairs have pale little blue dots, I guess I can match it with a beige carpet instead of the grey.

Hello, I think more glass and wood coffee table would be quite airy, and just darken your wall color with a grey tone would make your room feel more cozy.
