I want to recover the seats on my dining room chairs. My dining room suite is from the late '20, it's walnut. The chairs have their original seats -- dark red leather, with virtually no padding -- does not make for a comfortable dinner party!
My dining room is paint BM - Lyons Red. The drapes are cream and red toile.
I'd love to hear your suggestions!

I have the same problem at home, I used my collection of pashmina shaws to cover all the chairs. I got this idea from the latest issue of house & Home. It adds a super elegent look to the entire setting. The best part is that I just used different tones of the same color (pink) to cover the chairs... makes it less formal and kindda funky...
Hope it was an idea...
Cheers<3

I think ultra suede would look wonderful - very elegant. Maybe in a light warm beige to compliment what you already have. You wouldn't want to take away from the toile curtains, so something in a solid would be great.
You have to post an after pic after you've decided what you'll do and have actually done it!
Love the chairs!
