We had several like 2 dozen on my resturant and they were very full water lots feed lots and dead head lots and you will have lovely boxes. It took our watering girl about 2 hours a day to water the boxes and planters and dead head.
I agree, the fuller the better. They look so lovely stuffed full with trailers and lots of colour. Have fun doing them. They are so rewarding as they are instant colour.....
full-looking window boxes too. You'll be watering them once a day anyway (and probably a second time in hot summers?) so why not. I guess you have to be choosy about the soil you use, and feed on schedule.
I wonder if full boxes that completely shade the soil keep the moisture in a bit better? I thought I read that somewhere.
i love the look of a window box that is crammed with flowers and vines flowing out of them..i say the more the better!:D-
