and I'm sooooooo excited ! we just bought house in September, and renovated inside, now er're starting on the outside; we realise it will take more than one year so we're doing baby steps - money and energy are dwindling, too !!
We took out some awful old bushy things from either side of the steps leading to the the front door and tidied up a climbing rose; also two lilacs in the back yard. We added soil stuff to the small bed under the sun room window and are doing veggies in there this year (it's in the back of the house); also trying to level up and de-dandelion the back "lawn" (better known as the weedpatch!)
We brought one or two perennials from our old house, and have inherited one or two, too, including a peony, but apart from some small perennials, we have just planted annuals for this year. Will post pics/plans etc later, as I need some help !!
Yes, it is hard to believe how expensive the landscaping is......It does look so nice and give curb appeal when it is done, but YES it is expensive and alot of hard work. Please post some pictures for us so we can see what you have done. I bet that it is lovely..............
