Man big day here spent the entire day laying the sod and shaping the beds. Wow what a heavy job I had no idea that stuff wieghs so much of course it didn't help that it was pouring rain. I was pretty cute in my rain gear and boots. The rain stopped about 2 hours into the job so the sod stayed good a moist but so heavy. All done now and it looks so good to have lawn.

It isn't hard just heavy and tiring but it isn't rocket science. We got good instructions from the sod company on how to prep and how to look after it.
Never thought that would be my response, but as we are waiting for sod too....I understand your glee. Did I understand correctly that you laid it yourselves? Wow!
