Bedroom With Twin Beds

Save space with one shared nightstand between two beds.

"I like to create vignettes with a number of personal items like decorative objects collected on various trips, family photos, unique lamps and smaller pieces of original artwork," says Toronto designer Philip Mitchell. "Bedside tables should do double duty, so I tend to lean toward furniture pieces that have at least a drawer or closed cabinet below for additional storage. For me, there's also nothing like waking up or falling asleep to the scent of fresh flowers beside your bed."
