A graphic floor adds interest to a black and white palette.
New York designer Steven Gambrel chose striking yet simple features for a client's kitchen in Southampton. "I designed the glazed tiles, called Grove Brickworks for Waterworks, after a similar material was no longer available," he says. The texture of the rough clay base and shiny glaze is the perfect combination of polished-rustic. Open shelving flanking the range make white dish collections pop against the black.
