II BY IV Design

What's hot for 2011?

High-contrast colour schemes, including glam black and white, say Keith Rushbrook (left) and Dan Menchions (right) of Toronto's II BY IV Design, who have designed everything from condo lobbies and restaurants to spas and hotels. For this condo marketing centre, they chose eclectic white furniture, but introduced a bold red and orange rug and statement chandelier. Toronto's Donato Salon + Spa also illustrates II BY IV's penchant for contrast — a black-walled hallway leads to a white room, punctuated by a single black armchair.
