Update the jack-o'-lantern with this easy DIY idea.
Small white pumpkins decorated with carved lines or a lacy trim of tiny holes offer a grown-up version of the treasured Halloween icon. To recreate this look, cut a hole in the bottom of the pumpkin and scoop out the flesh, scraping the interior walls clean. Using a felt-tipped pen, map out a design on the pumpkin, then drill the holes with a power drill fitted with a small bit. To finish, place the decorated pumpkin over a tealight secured in a proper holder.
