A truly green home makes a stunning statement in Vancouver's Shaughnessy neighbourhood.
Natural materials, a hydroponic green roof, radiant floors and smart window placement are just a few of the features that reduce this home's ecological footprint. The owner, architect Clinton Cuddington, designed the house with various sections and areas with different setbacks so it doesn't feel too large. Parts of the rear façade are clad in yellow cedar trellising. The cantilevered roof shelters the balconies and shields the exterior walls from sun and rain.
