All-Black Kitchen
The unexpected use of deep, dark tones in a kitchen creates a look that's sleek and moody.
"There is something magical about an all-black kitchen that works as well as this one does," Kim says. "I typically prefer white kitchens, but the matte finish of the cabinets and the tile backsplash keep this from being too in-your-face. The glass-front cabinet doors also help keep the look light. I also love that the island has a high back to hide potential cooking messes."
