Grey is one of the hottest neutral paint shades at the moment, and these bedroom, dining room and living room photos illustrate just how elegant the hue can look. "I love how it works equally well in a downtown loft with dark stained wood, or a rustic country cottage with white painted floors," says H&H senior design editor Cameron MacNeil, who looks for warm shades that have more brown in them as opposed to cooler blue or purple undertones. MacNeil's favourite picks? "Behr's Paramount 720F-6 reminds me of painted metal and would look great on window sashes and interior doors," he explains.
