Inviting Cottage Living Room
Quirky display items like an old bell and a trophy fish lend a casual, cottagey feel.
On the same property, Gambrel converted this 1954 lakeside structure into an airy guest house. The 600-square-foot space is a world unto itself. "One feels like they are on a boat when staying here, as it is very close to the water's edge," he says. An oversized pendant lantern and large table lamps with green glass bases work well with the spacious proportions of the room.
