"We totally gutted our kitchen and then brought in new hardwood flooring, clean-lined cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and granite counters," explains Sherry. "We also closed off the doorway on the right that once led to a formal dining room. That single decision earned us at least twice as much cabinet and counter space, along with a much more functional layout."
