Add some drama this winter by injecting your rooms with rich jewel tones. Think ruby red, sapphire blue and emerald green. And you don't need to paint your walls to appreciate these bold colours — paint the inside of your front door red, or the inside of a bookcase dark blue. Or pick up some inexpensive throw pillows in amber, orange and amethyst. The colder months are the perfect time to cosy up with dark colours.
