Sculptural Accents

Pair organically shaped pieces with modern accents to add contrast.

Fashion designers Joe and Kimberley Mimran wanted to bring elements of vintage, classic and contemporary design together in their home. In the dining room (left), an orchid's organic form contrasts with a sculptural lucite candleholder. The front vestibule of the home also has striking accessories — a rustic stump offers a sturdy counterpoint to delicate blooms in a simple vase.
