Sloan Mauran's Favourite Palette

Neutrals you can pair with metal accents.

Toronto designer Sloan Mauran starts with a foundation of neutrals, which can be applied as a base for a whole home and accommodate rooms with stronger colours. In combination or on their own, each of these paint shades express a complexity beyond the simple tones without being too obvious, and would add sophistication and elegance to a bedroom or living room. Soft shades like these allow for decorative accessories and finishes to heighten the visual experience. Mauran accents these hues with mixed metals like polished nickel and gold. Paint bedroom walls in Farrow & Ball's Elephant's Breath (229) for a calm and serene effect.
