Something's Gotta Give

Discover beachy Hamptons style.

Director Nancy Meyers hits the mark with the beautiful home in Something's Gotta Give (2003). Lynda Reeves drew inspiration from this Hamptons home for the 2010 Princess Margaret Hospital lottery showhome. The kitchen — the scene for many arguments between Erica (Diane Keaton) and Harry (Jack Nicholson) — has crisp white Shaker cabinetry, a subway-tiled backsplash and an antique-looking faucet for a casual, laid-back look. In the dining room, shelving backed with beadboard is the perfect spot for Erica to display old trays and dishes, all in summery neutrals. And how about these slipcovers?! They dress up the dining room, while staying true to the soft palette of the space.
