Best known as Officer Karen from TV's Corner Gas, Canada’s most popular sitcom of all time, Tara Spencer-Nairn was born in Montreal, raised in Vancouver and now calls Toronto home. She’s known for quirky roles — including a turn as a masseuse opposite Don McKellar in the film Rub and Tug. So it’s perhaps no surprise that, a few hours before their wedding last spring at the Capitol Event Theatre, she and sweetheart Josh Glover scrapped tradition and showed up for drinks at a bar — in gown and tux.
On September 25 and 26, Tara is a celebrity escort in the Rally for Kids with Cancer Scavenger Cup to raise money for Toronto’s Sick Kids Foundation. Find out some of the star’s favourites things at home, including her top picks for furniture, recipes, paint and more. And you can support children's cancer care and research by sponsoring Tara in the rally.
