Modern colours and shapes mix with antique furniture for a unique look.
"This is actually part of a restaurant interior, Kettner's in London, which, under Ilse Crawford’s design direction, feels like the apartment of a collector," says Arren Williams, stylist and founder of the design blog Arren Williams Design Lab. "It’s more of that old/new combo for you, though with a daring mix that includes a rattan peacock chair and Geoffrey Harcort’s classic Chaise Lounge, designed in the '70s, set against new wood panelled walls, antique Persian rugs and a plasterwork ceiling. I love not only how it feels chucked together, but that it actually works!"
