Vancouver interior designer Nancy Boultbee downsized from a house to surround herself with sea and sky.
A practical layout and amazing views are this home's best features. The standout piece in this open-concept space is a walnut wall that divides the living room and den. The owner conceived it with input from fellow designer, Michael Gotziaman, to hold everything from books and files to office staples and TV components. The storage is accessible from the den side only, to allow the millwork's "organic simplicity" to stand alone on the living room side. White slipcovered furniture offsets the warmth of the wood and allows the view to shine.
