Moroccan Bridal Blanket
Wrap up this exotic throw for a design-savvy bride.
Similar to a Suzani, a Moroccan handira is traditionally hand-loomed by a bride to be and her female relatives to provide protection from the Evil Eye. They are one-of-a-kind pieces — each sequin is sewn individually — not always easy to find in North America. Typically woven with sheep's wool, they can be used as a coverlet at the foot of your bed, a throw, area rug or wall hanging.
Vintage Moroccan wedding blanket. 66" h. x 44" w. Approx. $445. Through L'Aviva Home.
