Heston Blumenthal — famed chef behind England's The Fat Duck (voted the world's best restaurant in 2005!) — published his seventh cookbook recently, Heston Blumenthal at Home (2011 Bloomsbury). Geared toward those who love home cooking, the new book is full of simple recipes with precise and easy-to-follow instructions, helpful tips, and chapters covering soups, salads, meat, fish, and more. Here, try his peach and ham salad (pictured above) as a starter and an authentic Italian spaghetti carbonara as a main course.
