An Easter dinner from Food Network star Trish Magwood. "Ham was never my favourite as a child. I guess I have grown up! Last New Year's Eve, we were hosting four families — eight adults and eleven kids. I needed something simple I could finish after a day of skiing. This is the perfect make-ahead, feed-a-crowd-in-two-seatings and look-very-impressive dish. And afterwards you get to enjoy days and days of ski sandwiches."
1 fully cooked spiral-cut smoked ham (4 to 6 lb.)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup mango chutney
1/4 cup dijon mustard
2 tbsp fresh orange juice
20 whole cloves
Step 1: Preheat oven to 325°F.
Step 2: Place ham in a roasting pan. In a bowl, whisk together garlic, brown sugar, chutney, mustard and orange juice until combined and smooth. Spread glaze over ham. Press cloves in an even pattern all over ham.
Step 3: Cover with foil. Bake for 1 hour or until ham is hot and glaze is browned, removing foil after first half hour.
Step 4: Slice and serve on a platter with mashed sweet potatoes and green beans.
