A delicious chocolate recipe for the holidays, this treat is also perfect for Rosh Hashanah.
12 oz. 70 per cent dark chocolate, chopped
1 cups coarsely chopped toasted almonds
1/2 cup chopped candied ginger
1/2 cup chopped candied orange peel
1 tsp sea salt
Step 1: Melt chocolate in a bowl set over simmering water or in a microwave for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat before chocolate is completely melted and stir to finish melting.
Step 2: Stir in nuts, ginger and orange peel. Stir in salt.
Step 3: Spread mixture 1/2" thick on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill.
Step 4: Cut or break into chunks. Store in the freezer.
