This cheese is loose enough to serve as a spread with bread or crackers. Lara McGraw, a food stylist, loves to serve this cheese at impromptu dinner parties with other antipasti like cured meats and grilled salmon.
1 tube soft goat cheese
1-2 cloves of garlic, grated or finely chopped
Chopped fresh herbs (McGraw usually uses chives, rosemary and parsley)
2 tbsp olive oil
Step 1: Loosely pack a bowl with the goat cheese.
Step 2: Add garlic, then chopped herbs on top of mixture. Pour oil over mixture. Let sit for about 1 hour.
Step 3: Serve with fresh bread or crackers.
