An easy-to-eat appetizer, perfect for a New Year's Eve party or summer barbecue.
1 16 oz. package Italian-style frozen meatballs
1 bottle/can marinara sauce
1 bunch fresh basil
Step 1: Oven-roast meatballs according to directions on package.
Step 2: In a medium pot, warm marinara sauce over low heat. Spoon 2 tsp of sauce into the bottom of a ramekin or small shallow serving dish. Place a basil leaf on sauce and top with one meatball pierced with a bamboo skewer.
Makes 6 to 8 servings
