
An easy and sweet rice cooker recipe from Roger Ebert's The Pot and How to Use It.
2 cups rice
3 cups water
1/2 stick unsalted butter
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp grated nutmeg
1/2 cup evaporated milk
3/4 cup brown or granulated sugar
Step 1: Combine all the ingredients in a rice cooker. The cooker will turn off when done.
Step 2: Heat the oven to 350°F.
Step 3: Pour the cooked rice into a greased baking dish; cook in the oven for 30 or 40 minutes.
