H&H style editor Andrea Mills shares her mother's easy recipe for holiday shortbread cookies.
1/2 cup icing sugar
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 cup sifted flour
1 cup butter
Step 1: Preheat oven to 300°F.
Step 2: Sift dry ingredients together. Cream dry ingredients into softened butter until a soft dough is formed. Shape dough into small balls, place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork, or roll out and use your favourite cookie cutter.
Step 3: Bake at for approximately 20 minutes.
