I don't need a college reunion, I practically see them all every day through work.
I myself have never been to one, but it probably would be a lot of fun, and I would absolutely want to look my best!!
you go and have fun...if they are only there to check out how much weight someone has put on....heck than stay away from that group and hang with the ones who really care about you as you are....have a great time!

It was a diff set of circumstances for me and some others who attended the reunion, as we had all moved far away. We missed the old gang and getting together over a weekend was great fun for us all. It was as much fun as the university reunion for myself. Have fun at yours. :)
you don't want to attend your high school reunion doesn't mean that you had a horrible experience. that is a huge assumption. i had a great time in high school. i just had no desire to see people that i had no desire to see. most of the ppl i went to high school
with still live in the same city. i figure, if they made an impression, i'd still be in touch. with my university reunion, it's a different story, b/c ppl ended up all over the world - it would be great to get together again.
It is so different the experiences some have of a past reunion. I think maybe it depends on how much you enjoyed that time in school as a teenager, Some did not enjoy the teen years at all and do not want to look back at some horrid memories for them at the time.
I attended the 20th which was weekend affair at a local hotel and had a great time. I feel badly for those who do not see that time in their lives worth going to a reunion for. To each his own :)
didn't attend my 10 year high school year reunion. my friend begged me to go, but i really had no desire. i kept in touch with everyone i wanted to. however, my 10 year university reunion is coming up and i'd love to attend that one. conveniently, i've moved back to the city where i attended university, so now it will be possible!
whether you reach your weight goal by then or not, just make sure you invest in a killer outfit with killer shoes and you'll eminate confidence and look fab!
reunion in '82. It was fun - and yes I did check everyone out. One girl I knew in high school I didn't recognize, she looked so fabulous. Funny how all those insecurities come back when a reunion is planned. I agree - go and have fun. who cares, really ,how you look except you.
Just recently went to one in September! Ours are usually for the whole school - I attended the school's 25 year ( corresponded to around our 10 year) - it was okay! This last one was the school's 50th so around our 27th I had a riot! I didn't lose any weight and didn't care. Talking with some old friends, they said they had intended to diet and lose weight but hadn't so decided not to attend. At the last minute changed their mind. We all had a blast - it was a great time! I wasn't worried about being judged , in fact I wished I had felt that way in high school and maybe it would have been more fun!
I went to my 10 year and it was fun but so much upstaging it nearly made you sic. Everyone trying to 1 better the next one what they had done and how many kids they had. Then I never saw a single person from 10 year to 30 year reunion and it was so boring I will not go again. I didn't remember anyone when they said who they were I remembered them but I ddin't go up to 1 person and say "hi I'm soand so how are you "they are planning a cruise for the 40 year but I won't go. But trust me you are being well checked out on how much you have changed how weight you gained and how much hair the guys have lost so if you are worried about it is true. Sorry to burst anyones bubble about how much fun they are I am telling how mine was and giving you straight goods.
actually that sounds like it would be fun...i never got one...than again i never had a prom....altho' i did create my own prom....shhhhh ....don't tell my parents.... :D
