DS future Step Son is 10 and we are spending Christmas with them this year. Ds says he is into Magic and has suggested that as a gift for him. Has anyone bought anything like that for their kids mine were never into that ans I have no idea as what to look for. We don't have a ToyRUs store only Zellers or WalMart.

there is this fabulous science store "Science Works" on Oak Bay Avenue, you definitely could find some he'd love there. When we visited, I brought home all sorts of cool stuff for my nephews.

Just wondering if you mean actual magic..as in doing tricks etc, or if you are talking about the card game Magic? My cousin's new hubby plays Magic all the time. So, I may be able to get some info. Let me know.

Try googling Magic tricks and Kits. You'll probably find lots of ideas there, and maybe can order a nifty gift on-line.
