There is a new Canadian company named Effbe which produces some long awaited, clever problems solvers for easier garbage and recycling! The company manufacturers these "Floating Blue Bin" brackets which brilliantly organize & manage standard bins on the wall!   They get the bins off of the floor or ground to reduce clutter, make more room for parking cars in garage or more room for the lawn mower. Best of all, they do it without having to build shelves!! The patented bracket hooks into the bin’s lip for easy lift and replacing---------smart! Great for inside a shed or mud room if that is where you keep bins. They sell in a pack of 2 with all  mounting hardware  for $10 at Solution Stores & LeeValley Tools.Another clever one is their Bin Guard item. It is a spring loaded metal latch for RACCOON proofing the clumsy city green bins!   The kit comes complete with the clever latch, mounting hardware & instructions...even drill bit included to drill 2 holes. Easy installation & use  ----------this bad boy really works! Unlike some of the fabric straps and plastic snap things on the market ( i won't even mention the impossible to get city version latch) , this is all metal so animal teeth can not chew it. It is quite strong and  it engages with the bin's existing latch...simple one finger pull design..even with gloves on!.  $10 at Beach Hardware and perhaps soon a Solutions Stores also!  I'm keeping my green bin by the side door this winter Some pics and other info/stores mentioned here:Floating Bins:  http://www.prlog.org/10387318-floating-blue-bins-help-to-reclaim-your-floor-space-and-drive-your-clutter-up-the-wall.html  Bin Guard:  http://www.prlog.org/10351591-municipal-green-bins-are-finally-raccoon-proof-with-nononsense-lidlatchlock-made-of-steel.html  These are perfect stocking stuffer gifts...and the right size for it too!WELL DONE EFFBE!      website: www.effbeworld.com
