You know how they say that if you keep something long enough, it will come back into style??? well, IT HAS FINALLY HAPPENED !!
I have a really really really old comforter, brown background with pink flowers, I hate it, hate it ; I use a cover on it all the time; I got the Ikea mini-catalogue/flyer-thing today, bedroom version, and there is a room near the back that has my comforter pattern as drapes
MUST finally get a new comforter . . .

This can't be so. The theory is that people (who aren't into modern/contemporary) tend to like the styles of the era two decades or more prior to their birth. Now if the 80's 90's are coming back that means something has gone thump to that theory....unless a bunch of 6 year olds are calling the shots.

I still don't have my Ikea catalogue and have ordered twice now. Guess I just get to wait and see and thankfully I am not holding my breath.
there is not much chance of that . . the IKEA catalogue is FULL of 60-70--80s design stuff . . next, the MULLET lol
Maybe it's a sign of how truly ahead of your time you are.
I saw the flyer.. something about that pattern is reminiscent of the late 80's early 90's (gee maybe with the return of leggings and straight leg jeans there is a movement afoot...let's hope it just passes without anyone noticing).
