we'll be seeing more updates to your beachy room, even if you opt not to get a really great (!) boat like mine. I've really enjoyed seeing you put that lovely room together, and I would love to see more.

That is funnier than you think. Anyhow...yes, the boat is nice, I'm thinking not in the living room at all, I am actually thinking DH's dark and dungeon like den instead....

Dawn that's perfect for Aan's room. Aan, can't you see that in your room? You can imagine yourself "Master and Commander" with Russell Crowe. There would be perpetual wind in your hair and a surf underneath your feet. How can you pass that up!!!
This one that can be had for HBC points is also nice. The stand part is different than mine, but similar to the one at Bombay.
It was about 3 years ago when I found mine at Safeway in summer. I think it was regularly priced around $30.
is $99 - it is gorgeous, but maybe you can find one at a better price?
i saw a really nice boat/ship on the bombay co. website...and it was on sale ($59 i think). it is GORGEOUS!!! you should check it out. it think it'd go perfectly in your "beachy" room.
Safeway. They get different shipments of things through the year like birdhouse,towels, sheets, dish sets, Onieda etc. For the last 2-3 years they had boats/ships. I had my eye on them for a while, and finally caved and bought this one because it had been marked down for clearance at the end of the summer-around 75% off. I couldn't resist!
I think Elise is right! I need a boat, I like your boat! That's a good size too? Did you build it, or did your son? Or did you, buy it? I like it!! :)
