I'm with you there, Arizona, but just add a sprinkling of the white stuff on Christmas Eve for the feel of the season ...
A very, very small part of me wishes it was cooler here because I am not looking forward to having anything to do with a turkey this weekend. I can't seem to get into the groove of Thanksgiving at all due to the warm weather but I'm not complaining, it could stay like this until Easter if it were up to me :)
I just left Ontario today and really didn't want to go knowing how nice the weekend was going to be (30 degrees - wow) and knowing what the weather is like in BC. Had to turn the furnace on here. Yuck.
Well, the snow's all gone now and I'm seeing some lovely blue sky out my office window. I've got a friend flying in from Van. Island tomorrow, and told her to bring both shorts and some warm gloves....you never know what it's going to be like here!
what about all this global warming stuff?....doesn't seem to be the case when provinces are getting cold weather and snow....weird!!
You aren't alone. it's a whole 6 here with thunderstorm/snow warnings (now how often do those two come together?... actually it was like that yesterday too). We might hit some double digits on the weekend but still way below 'normal' (nothing is normal here). So begins my annual watching of the temps to figure out where I could move that has a little less winter and more fall/spring (that isn't humid any time).
We didn't get snow, but the school bus had a few inches on it. In Kelowna???
Don't feel too bad as our forecast isn't but better! Friday evening..rain turning to snow(2cm) , Saturday..rain or snow +5. Sunday is a little better with a high of +10 and then to top it all off +18 on Monday. Nothing too terribly out of the norm for Saskatchewan!! Haha!
And to think I moved here from St. Catherine's 2 years ago......I miss those long indian summers (but not the humidity!).
you poor girl ! sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but here (Niagara) it is really hot, probably about 25 degrees today ...
