I am having trouble with my air exchanger and I need a little info. I am trying to prepare for the winter in advance, so here's my problem. My intake vent for my air exchanger is too close to the ground for the amount of snow I get around my house. The vent sucks in snow and it melts in the vent line before it reaches the air exchanger. This causes a leak onto my basement floor. I am in the process of finishing my basement with a reckroom, but I can't do anything with my ceiling until I fix this problem. Does anybody know where I can get some sort of attachment to raise the vent up 3 or 4 feet on the outside of my house?
