I watched it om Youtube and Ihave to say that is one the first times I have thought the remake is way better than the original. Wow that was amazing.I am sure he will be huge.
I'm so happy David Cook one. He was my favorite since the beginning!

Devine.....i missed his Billiejean performance but heard it was excellent....i will be the first in line for his cd......the young David was really good and i think he will have opportunities but i just felt that it was David Cooks call right now....being a hard working bartender he will have the appreciation, at least i would hope he would......Mel...oh when he was on stage with ZZ Top that was the highlight of my night....he totally just fit right in, it was home for him, throughly enjoyed it

My vote was for David Cook. He deserved to win. Although I did like the other David, but honestly I cant see myself buying his CD....David Cook's absolutely. He has great talent and think he will go far with his career. His performance of Billie Jean was THE best!!!..Loved his rendition of it :)
I usually don't watch but DIL was so excited about it we watched together and she was thrilled at the winner. Me it didn't make a bit of difference as it was the first time I had watched all year. Now Dancing with the Stars thats a different story DH and I watch all the time and I was so excited when Kristy won. Love that show .
I have to say, this is the very first time in the history of American Idol that I feel motivated to buy the winner's debut cd. David Cook is soooooo much better than your typical karaoke type singer we usually see on that show. In fact, this season was full of talented musicians for a change. Its nice to see them broadening the search...and letting some people with personality make it a little further.
Cook was always so gracious and adorable and professional and shockingly RELAXED! Seriously, did you see him on stage with ZZ Top?? It was like he was jamming with some friends in the basement!! LOVED IT!!!!
I also thought Archuletta was great! That boy did not hit a bad note....the entire season! Fantastic singer...just not my cup of tea.
I think the show was great! Some seriously BIG star power! Even DF (who HATES American Idol) found it to be quite entertaining....and thats a really big deal!!

Yes it was exditing.....imagine 97000,000 votes...I liked both Davids they both seem so nice ,although I was hoping for Archuleta..My Grandsons & son-in law liked Cook because HE ROCKS :cool:
