Ant hill in flower bed

Hello,

I am looking for suggestions on how to get rid of a very large ant colony in my flower bed. I have several perennials in this bed so I don't want to hurt them if avoidable.

Any suggestions?

I had anthills in my lawn last year and found pouring boiling water on the hills was effective against them and is non-toxic as well. You will probably have to repeat this several times and be careful not to pour the water on your plants or they will be damaged as well. Good luck!
