I've been really wanting to take a landscape design course, but missed the 4-class one that was offered by the local college this spring. I'm hoping they're going to offer another one this summer, but it's a pretty small campus, so it's a long shot.
If you've taken one, what did you think of it? Did it help you envison your outdoor space any better?
I've got all sorts of ideas, but don't really know where to start. I'm also used to gardening on the coast, where "winter" just means more wet stuff, not 30 below zero, so learning from a local about what works and what doesn't would be nice.
