Oh, I'm sure I have no hope of being selected -- but, you don't know if you don't try, right!? I think the pictures of my supporters and me will scare them!! Let's just say I know a lot of unphotogenic people ;) But that's OK, I love 'em all :)
Ummmmm.... think I'll take a pass on Love It Or Lose It!! Wow, that's a BAD show!!!!
You know if you don't get picked you can always appy to Love It or Lose It. wouldn't that be fun.
sparkplug, you are very right.........There used to be a game show on TV here, Canadian one, which I can't remember its name because it was eons ago and I had applied for it and was called in among many other contestants and after answering a lot of trivial questions, they selected some and put us in a room and someone was always around watching to see how we were interacting with each other and to see if there were any "crazies" amongst us. I was not chosen, because I guess I'm not the "crazy" type, but didn't regret it because it was fun to do. I haven't applied for this one because I know there will be thousands of applicants and just a few will be chosen to participate.
Deal or No Deal is looking for contestants that have a some sort of real story behind, a sob story or triumph over tragedy, daredevils, diehard fans of any sports, rockstars, pez dispensers, whatever - the quirkier the better, world travellers, humanitarians - they want likeable "characters" and of course you and your "team" have to be decent looking.
It's interesting how complicated the whole process is in selecting the right contestants. The application is just the start.
here ya go mom!!

OK because I don't watch much TV at night other than the Hockey games what is Deal or No Deal. I have never seen it.
yup me too!!!
Yes smoogie, my neibour across from me mailed in her appl. just over a week ago. She will be good for that game, she is quite excitable heheh Thinks that's what they are looking for, and of course your answers on the appl. form help also. I love watching that show and can't wait to see the "Canadian" version fo it! Good luck to Smoogie & Reginagirl!! :D
OMG, it's torture, eh?!?! I was so stuck on the poem -- by 11:00 tonight I was getting desperate, so I just wrote whatever popped into my head. And then when I hit Submit, the message came up saying that if you were missing any info, you'd have to complete the application form all over again. Yikes!! So at 11:45, I was checking to see who I have pictures of because I needed one more supporter. Thank god I got the "Thank You" message -- I wouldn't have had time to do it all again.
Good luck, RG!!
I did, holy crap what an application to fill out
