OK

And somewhat narcissistic IMO. I recently had a request to be a friend and the individual had over 750 friends in their account!!!!!
I enjoy FB but mainly to keep in touch with my mom and show photos of the kids to my family. Thing is though, I have my preferences set so that only my friends can see my photos and not friends of my friends. I am amazed at how many people fail to manage their accounts privacy settings.
It's a little troubling that some of the younger people think that if they have lots of "friends" on Facebook or followers on Twitter then they are popular and more worthy. it's very false I find.
When watching Regis & Kelly one morning, I remember Regis stating Twitter and all that stuff :D - like the internet is just a phase or trend that will soon pass.:)
It's a fad that will grow old quickly I suspect. Facebook makes more sense to me then twitter
I feel the same way, I don't have time to constantly be updating people on stuff. I guess I am more of an e-mail or phone person, that's plenty of ways to stay in touch. Maybe you have to be a certain age to "get it" and to actually think anyone even cares that much about the mundane things most of us do.
I am. But, I am not active. I tried it and after a short time the mundane aspect of the "twitter" scene really got to me. I see now why they are called "twits". :D
Nancy, I am SOOOOOO with you - I am still trying to figure out Facebook ....
Lacombe - this is going to sound abrupt, I don't mean it to, but my brain has given up today, why do you want to know?
I am - kind of. I just don't get it; yet.
