I bought a Yucca at a garden sale yesterday, but it has no discription with it.
Is it full sun or shade, how big does it grow, what does it look like once settled.
The only info I can find on the net are the monstrous dessert type, I don't think, or I hope not, that isn't what I bought!!

thanks everyone. I have the perfect sunny spot for it. If only the weather would co-operate so I can get planting!
I had one as a house plant and it grew to about 4.5 feet. The trunk was about1.5 in diameter. It needed very little water and the pot has stones on the bottom. I used to water it from the top down the center of the plant. It also grew in an area with indirect light.
Yucca's love full sun. They don't need much water either.
There are several types of yucca. Floridata is a great website to search for plant information. I did a search for yucca and here is the link for the search results:

They were here when we moved in. They get full sun until late in the afternoon. I think soil should basically have good drainage, and maybe soil with a bit of rocks and sandiness to it, not lush black potting soil.
As far as size goes, I think about 2.5-3 feet diameter. If you need a visual put one hand on either side of your keyboard and the cirlce your arms make is about right.
